Newman Lecture UCD
A century and a half after Newman’s famous Dublin addresses on the Idea of a University, and a century after the institution he founded was rechartered as University College Dublin, UCD established an annual lecture in his memory. The inaugural Newman Lecture was delivered in 2000 by John Haldane.
